Project summary:
The Homemakers expo is an annual event held in various cities throughout South Africa. It connects its audience to the best leaders within the home and lifestyle industry. This project aims to set the tone for the design direction of the event itself, as well as being applied across various platforms. Using an archetype as the basis of research and design exploration, a frame work and design is to be developed embodying the homemakers expo brand.

Design Strategy:
A house isn't just a place, its a space to make your home your own. A home has the ability to be anything it is envisioned to be, imagination is the limit with an endless array of possibility. The design takes on the perspective of chaos that isn't messy, and an order that isn't boring. It clings to the concept that creativeness cannot be confined to boundaries, the campaign Limitless is just that. Limitless eliminates limits, it aims to appeal to more than one kind of person, it can imitate a more is more style, yet flexible enough to be minimalistic. Its in the hands of the creator themselves, it uses bold elements that work both individually and together as well, a juxtaposition of visual language. Ideas can become a reality, and your reality is limitless.
What has been adjusted :
Upon receiving feedback on the Limitless campaign, the element that needed the most change was the logo itself. The paint streak and roller have been replaced with a paint inspired type instead. It has allowed for a more open and experimental layout. The final billboard design has been completely revised and the patterns as well as elements have been used more sparingly, than in the banners and original billboard.
